Karthika, a poor village girl, falls in love with a christian novelist who saves her from a roaring train. She makes her living selling flowers in the town. In order to meet her daily, the novelist places orders for different varieties of flowers. At last he tells her that he loves to own the most enchanting flower – Karthikapoovu – which is the flower vendor herself.
Karthikapoovu is my second chitra katha which was published in 1976 in Manorajyam Weekly. It is a 40 page love story, the second half of which moving into the realms of transcendentalism
